Born on 15 January
1971 in Rio de Janeiro, Brinco had his first supernatural experience in
“Candomblé” (1) with 10 years old. Led by his catholic (but not practicing)
mother, he went to Botafogo beach to give an offering to an entity (demon)
called "Maria Padilha”, from "Pombagira" phalange. At that time, Brinco lived as the majority of non-Christian men: in promiscuity. Even because, when he gave that offering at Botafogo beach, he was devoting his life to the prostitution spirit (without knowing that).
When Brinco was 33 years he met Jesus Christ, his Savior, by his wife Nãna Shara. Christ began a process of liberation, healing and conversion in his life. He got married with Nãna Shara in 2005, after a period of 1 year and 8 months of courtship. He used this time to let Jesus make a big change in his life: a promiscuous man became a holy and servant man, looking for the holiness that comes only from Jesus Christ. He is part of ICI (Igreja Celular Intenacional), a church in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, founded and led by Pastors Antônio José Lino and Ludmila Ferber. Since that he knew Jesus, Brinco come under the leadership of his pastors and Sérgio and Cynthia Porral that are also the youth pastors of the church. From 1999 until the beginning of 2006, Brinco was the band leader and vocalist of US.4 (a rock band). The band songs were part of a soap opera soundtrack (“Malhação", from Rede Globo), including the track "Not always what you want". He left he band in 2006. Some years later, Brinco began his ministry as a Missionary, Preacher and Worship Minister, preaching the Word of God in many churches, and sharing his life testimony to the honor and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the same year (2006), he founded the Ministry of Praise "Odre" (Wineshin) which CD was released in 2009 by PFG (Passion, Fire and Glory), the David Quinlan´s Records. ( www.paixaofogoegloria.com.br ) The “Odre” Ministry is also composed of Saulo Fajardo (drums) and Natalie Wippel (bass). The band is motivated by the call of God to preach the Gospel of Salvation in a bold way. “Odre” has a sound for young, mixing the good Rock’n’roll with lyrics and melodies filled with the anointing and the Presence of God. Besides being the lead singer of “Odre” Band, Brinco also shares his testimony in churches, explains what is behind the tattoos and piercings and preach about courtship, bringing not just evangelism but also building for the body of Christ.
